Vietnam health clinic
Vietnam Health Clinic (VHC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care access and services to under-resourced populations of Vietnam, while promoting proactive learning and firsthand experience in primary care for our student members.
We are excited to announce that the next VHC mobile health clinic is scheduled for the Summer of 2019!
Applications for student members and healthcare professionals will open in the Fall of 2018. If you would like to get updates on applications, info sessions, upcoming events and programs, please subscribe to our email list here.
In the meantime, consider being a VHC volunteer! Throughout the year, our volunteers have the opportunity to work closely with VHC and our community partners to plan and participate in memorable events such as fundraisers, mock clinics, and educational workshops as well as help us reach out to sponsors, donors, and healthcare professionals for their support as our ambassadors. These opportunities will help provide you with a better understanding of our mission, the chance to give back, and the ability to network with new people. It will also allow you to get valuable experience that would be beneficial to your application if you choose to apply later as a student member or healthcare professional.
Hoi An, vietnam
It’s a wrap - our 2017 mobile health clinic was a success thanks to our amazing team of student members, health professionals, volunteers and supporters! Over the span of two weeks, we set up clinics in eight different underprivileged communities in the Hoi An province of Vietnam, providing basic health care to more than 1,600 patients. We could not have done it without everyone’s support and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
