Dr. Amenda Chou graduated from the University of California, Berkeley's School of Optometry and has her own private optometry practice in Mill Creek, WA. She has more than 15 years of clinical experience as a optometrist. Inspired by Vietnam Health Clinic's mission and leadership after participating in the nonprofit's 2013 mobile health clinic, Amenda decided to join the VHC's Board of Directors. As a current member of Board of Directors, she oversees growth of the optometry component, helping VHC provide primary eyecare for underserved patients in rural Vietnam. She has a Taiwanese Canadian background but has been a local Seattleite for many years and loves the great outdoor of the Pacific Northwest.
