Throughout the year, our volunteers have the opportunity to work closely with VHC and our community partners to plan and participate in memorable events such as fundraisers, mock clinics, and educational workshops as well as help us reach out to sponsors, donors, and healthcare professionals for their support as our ambassadors. These opportunities will help provide you with a better understanding of our mission, the chance to give back, and the ability to network with new people. It will also allow you to get valuable experience that would be beneficial to your application if you choose to apply later as a student member or healthcare professional.

VHC Health Fair 2021
Seattle, Washington
We did it! VHC hosted our first ever local two-day health fair right in Seattle, WA. It was so amazing to see so many people receive free healthcare services, from health screenings, dental services, vision screenings, physical therapy consultations, and more. After months of preparation from our team, it is so rewarding to hear all the positive feedback from patients and volunteers!
Despite COVID-19 impacting our operations and the scale of our services this year, our mission remained the same - to provide healthcare to underserved populations while providing our students with hands-on learning opportunities. We could not have done this without the support from our community partners, volunteers, and student members who helped us in preparation for our event, and with that we say THANK YOU! #vhchealthfair
